Bioethics Collaborative

Established in 1995, the Bioethics Collaborative is a joint program of Vidant Medical Center and The Brody School of Medicine Department of Bioethics and Interdisciplinary Studies at East Carolina University. The Collaborative was established to provide educational opportunities for hospital staff, physicians, students, and faculty, and to support the work of hospital committees charged with addressing ethical issues.

The Bioethics Collaborative sponsors bioethics conferences, workshops and lectures for Vidant Medical Center. The Collaborative is staffed by the faculty of the Department of Bioethics and Interdisciplinary Studies.
